There is no reason for me to own ...I totally agree. There is no reason for me to own an iPad other than to have a magazine E-reader...but it's certainly not worth the price just to do that. If you're going to charge me $500 for a piece of hardware, it better have USB or Firewire ports, the ability to run non-iPhone apps, and some kind of ability to control files.
